  1. Considering that January has generally always been my slowest month, I am having a really good month so far, with 2 sales. Here’s hoping for an excellent 2014!

I never expect much from January. It’s the month that I bounce new ideas off my friends and start putting the ones that fly into production.

I’m really starting to look at doing more craft shows this year after a hiatus due to family issues and sports. So I’m taking the time to catch up with old friends that are still in the local circuits and refine what we want to do.

  3. January has been very slow, but after the Christmas rush both on Etsy and in our personal lives, it’s a good time to start working on restocking our shops and introducing new products into our shops. Happy 2014!

  4. I’ve been doing the 30 Days of Hustle to help me get my butt in gear. It’s helping me stay focused. I’m finally getting around to doing something with my sweater mountain. My goal for January is to have at least 5 new sweater creations completed and listed in my shop.

  5. I have had three sales so far in January, which is great for a slow month! I have decided to begin working on men’s beaded rings in my shop – stocking up for Fathers Day. I don’t have a lot of time to devote to creating new things right now, so I’m giving myself a lot of lead time, and I figure men’s jewelry items are harder to find out there than women’s. I’ve done pretty well with my men’s rings – one of my sales this month was to a male customer in South Africa – so I need to boost my shop in this area, and offer more variety!
